WHOLESOME NOSTALGIA
While the origins of brownies aren't uniquely Southern, our Brownie Mix holds its own history. This Brownie Mix was the first dessert that our founder created for his son. This recipe is held dear to both of their hearts, and their bond is strengthened with each batch made.
Voted the World’s Best Brownie by the Seattle Times, the Food with Roots’ Brownie is full of texture, complexity, and of course, chocolate. We use the best whole wheat flour from the Pacific Northwest and world renowned chocolate, which creates rich, chewy, and slightly fudgy brownies–you’ll be hard pressed to admit they came from a mix.
