• 3 Tablespoons Butter
  • ½ Cup Grits
  • 4 cups Water or chicken stock
  • Salt
  • 6 Tablespoons Food with Roots Pimento Cheese

In a large butter melt butter and lightly brown. Add in grits, stirring consistently to avoiding burning. Pour in stock and bring to a boil. Reduce to a simmer and Stir every 10 minutes or so to ensure its not sticking at the bottom. Cook for about 30-45 minutes covered. Add a little more water as need to continue cooking until fully cooked. Season with salt and fold in pimento cheese off of the heat.
