A Southern Tradition
As a southern Chef, Chef Jordan always wanted to feature Pimento Cheese on his menu. He knew in order to include such a iconic dish, especially in the Pacific Northwest, that it would have to stand out. Thinking back on all the Pimento Cheese he indulged in over his life Chef created a version that incorporated all the qualities he most enjoyed in Pimento Cheese: velvety mouth feel, rich, tangy, sweet, spiced and most importantly big in flavor. First introduced at Chef's second restaurant, JuneBaby, his Pimento Cheese quickly became a crowd favorite and requested by everyone from near and far.
TANGY, SWEET, & SPICY
Pimento Cheese is great wherever cheese is used: in mac & cheese, with meat platters & charcuterie boards with mixed pickles, as a vegetable or chip dip, in sandwiches, on burgers, tossed into potatoes or warmed to form a fondue. The possibilities are endless.
Rich, decadent, tangy from the sharp cheddar, sweet from the pickled sweet peppers, savory finish, slightly salty, spreadable when warm.
Pick up this Pimento Cheese at any WA Whole Foods, select OR Whole Foods, Met Market, Ken's Market, Delaurenti, and of course at JuneBaby or on Salare's 180 burger."
