Pimento Cheese

Pimento Cheese Story

This southern staple is a soulful take on the classic spread where we highlight Pacific Northwest sharp cheddar cheese, pickled sweet peppers, mayonnaise, herbs and spices. Our rich and tangy dip is a perfect snack, party appetizer, and sandwich spread to enhance picnics, porch hangouts, and game days.

Pimento cheese has origins in New York during the late 1800's due to industrial food manufacturing. In 1911, Pimento Cheese was booming within the nation and Georgia began cultivating domestic pimento peppers due to the demand of the sweet Spanish pepper. It is believed that Georgia was the reason why pimento cheese became a southern classic. The spread became more famous due to the popularity of sporting events like the PGA Masters Golf tournament and the Kentucky Derby.
